<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treatment instrument for an endoscope, safely and easily removing a calculus of a comparatively larger size. <P>SOLUTION: A Papillotome 1 inserted in an endoscope in use includes: a flexible long sheath 3 having a second lumen 12 and a third lumen 13; a conductive wire 4 passed through the second lumen 12, a part of the tip side being exposed to the outside of the sheath 3 as an incision knife part 4A; and a balloon 23 fitted to the sheath 3, which can be inflated by fluid supplied from the third lumen 13; wherein the balloon 23 is longer in the axial direction than in the radial direction when inflated, and the tip of the inflated balloon 23 is located on the proximal end side than the incision knife part 4A exposed from the sheath 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
