<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent foreign matter from being caught in a gap formed between a slide door and the rear edge part of a side opening part. <P>SOLUTION: The slide door 20 is once displaced outward in the vehicle width direction from the closing position of covering the side opening part 10, and then moved backward along the outside surface of the vehicle body to reach the opening position of opening the side opening part 10. The rear edge part of the side opening part 10 is provided with an intrusion detection sensor 25 elongated in the vertical direction and actuated when an object abuts on it from the front.
