<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device capable of suppressing deterioration in the image quality of an image viewed by an observer, even if the number of single images displayed at a time is increased. <P>SOLUTION: The image display device 1 is equipped with a display 2 where respective sub pixels of RGB are repeatedly and continuously arranged in a horizontal direction, and the same sub pixels out of the sub pixels of RGB are arranged repeatedly and continuously in the vertical direction; a light-shielding panel 3, where a plurality of aperture parts to make light of the respective sub pixels in one sub-pixel group, comprising four sub pixels continuing in the horizontal direction of the display 2 reach four viewing point positions are formed; and an image processor 4 which allows the display 2 to display composite image data generated from four parallax images. The display 2 displays one pixel in each parallax image at each viewing point position, with the light of the sub pixel passing through a one-pixel aperture part group constituted of three aperture parts being arranged triangular in shape. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
