<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a variable displacement turbocharger capable of being miniaturized and imparting a variation to a rotary pattern of nozzle vanes. <P>SOLUTION: A plurality of nozzle vanes 15 are arranged at an equal interval in the circumferential direction in a gas inlet flow passage 12 of a turbine housing 10. The respective nozzle vanes 15 are supported by a pivot 25 and a guide 26, and after circumferentially arranging three nozzle vanes 15a in which the pivot 25 becomes nearer to a turbine wheel 11 than the guide 26, a nozzle vane 15b in which the guide 26 becomes nearer to the turbine wheel 11 than the pivot 25 is arranged by one. In a maximum (an angleθ<SB>1</SB>) state of an angle formed by the nozzle vanes 15 to a straight line L, when respectively connecting an inside end part 15c and an outside end part 15d, circles S<SB>1</SB>and S<SB>2</SB>are drawn. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
