PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a curable composition having good near infrared absorption and visible light transmission properties and curable to form a thin film without substituting the atmosphere with an inert gas and to provide an optical filter produced by using the composition. SOLUTION: The curable composition contains an epoxy resin, a curing agent and at least one compound selected from a phosphoric acid ester copper complex and a carboxylic acid copper complex.
