PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition for sidewall, containing, as a rubber component, a deproteinized natural rubber being freed from non-rubber components such as protein in natural rubber. SOLUTION: The rubber composition for sidewall comprises a rubber component containing 10-100 wt.% of the deproteinized natural rubber 0.3 wt.% or less in total nitrogen content as a protein indicator and 10-70 pts.wt., based on 100 pts.wt. of the above rubber component, of polybutadiene.
