PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite material whose photocatalytic material content is about 1 to about 99 wt.% of the total weight of the composite material. SOLUTION: The composite material contains an inorganic material whose surface is coated with a photocatalytic material. The content of the photocatalytic material is about 1 to about 99 wt.% of the total weight of the composite material. The composite material can shut off infrared light. The composite material can absorb ultraviolet light since it contains the photocatalytic material.
