Method for installing software component is disclosed, including: DM client receives the software component packet directly from DM Server, or receives download command and download address about software component packet provided by DM Server. The software component packet includes at least one software component. If the DM client receives the download command and download address about software component packet, the DM client downloads the software component packet according to the download address. The DM client installs the obtained software component on the local, and creates management node and sub-node in the Deployed sub-tree corresponding to the software component. By the method, the software component install period is reasonable. A system and device for installing software component are disclosed.
