A novel therapeutic agent for malignant tumor comprising as an efficative component any of compounds of the general formula (1):(1) wherein R1 is a hydrogen atom, hydroxyl or methoxy; R2 is a hydrogen atom or hydroxyl; R3 is a hydrogen atom or hydroxyl; R4 is a hydrogen atom or methoxy; the dashed line indicates that the part may be a double bond; and R5 is a hydrogen atom or any of groups of the formula (a): (a) wherein the arrow indicates a bonding site; and R1, R2, R3, R4 and the dashed line are as defined above.
