METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR ASSIGNING ACK/NACK RESOURCE IN MOBILE COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

A method for assigning ACK/NACK(ACKnowledge/Negative ACKnowledge) resource capable of minimizing overhead in mobile communications system and apparatus thereof are provided to improve ACK/NACK receiving performance by optimizing a necessary resource in ACK/NACK transmission. A method for assigning ACK/NACK resource capable of minimizing overhead in mobile communications system comprises the following steps: a step for transmitting one by one correspondence relation between a CCE(Control Channel Element) comprising a down link-control channel and a resource for transmitting the ACK/NACK into a terminal; a step for determining a resource for transmitting the down link data channel and a transmission format after determining a transmission of the down link data channel through a predetermined scheduling operation; and a step for transmitting the down link data channel according to a resource for transmitting a determined down link data channel and the transmission format.
