<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and method for evaluating the function of a moving organ such as the heart using ultrasound. <P>SOLUTION: This evaluation method includes a step of capturing a sequence of two-dimensional ultrasound images of a moving organ within a body of a patient.
