IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS, PRESENTATION METHOD FOR INFORMATION ASSOCIATED WITH IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS, AND COMPUTER PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inform a user that a print job is to be discontinued more securely than before.

SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus 2 having a print job request accepting section 201 which accepts a request for a print job and a print queue 202 which stores a print job expected to be executed is provided with: a consumption article remaining amount recognition section 205 which recognizes the remaining amount of a consumption article; a consumption article use amount calculation section 204 which calculates the amount of use of the consumption article used when a print job associated with the accepted request is executed, a print job completion possible/completion impossible decision section 206 which decides whether the print job can be completed based upon the calculated amount of use of the print job associated with the request and the recognized remaining amount when the request is accepted, and a job information display processing section 207 which starts processing for outputting a message showing that the print job can not be completed before the print job is stored in the print queue 202 when it is decided that the print job can not be completed.
