<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital broadcast receiver having introduced a security technology without increasing slots by effectively utilizing existing slots, and having solved the problems of enlargement of device and cost increase. <P>SOLUTION: In the digital broadcast receiver 40 having a slot 47, which can mount adaptors 30 having two kinds of shapes with cards 20 mounted thereon, the slot 47 is provided with detection switch 49 for detecting difference of the shape of the adaptor 30 mounted thereon and constituted so that, when an adaptor 30 having a card 20 mounted thereon is not mounted on the slot 47, prohibits output of image and voice, and when an adaptor for 3.3 V is detected, discriminates it as a security card and permits output of image and voice, also when an adaptor for 5 V is detected, discriminates it as a card for releasing scramble, and permits output of image and voice and release of a prescribed scramble broadcast. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
