PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved method for acquiring information about combination of ligands and targets. SOLUTION: The method of using an array calorimeter comprises the steps of: supplying samples and each test and the reference groups to each set of array calorimeters having two or more cells; combining at least first and second samples of cell tests and reference groups; supplying each output signal including information about the step of combining the first and the second samples; and ranking target types and fragment types to each set of standard types having one or more sets.
