PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide muffler structure for a compressor capable of effectively restricting the noise caused by refrigerant gas blown out of a discharge opening. SOLUTION: This muffler structure for the compressor is provided with an end plate member 50 to be fitted to a cylinder main body, a reed valve for opening/closing the discharge opening 51a of the end plate member 50, and a cup-type muffler main body 40 to be fitted to the end plate member 50. The end plate member 50 has an inclined surface 51b continued to the discharge opening 51 and directed to the discharge opening 51a. A peripheral wall 41 of the muffler main body 40 has a first restriction part 41a constricted inside. The refrigerant gas blown out of the discharge opening 51a is made to collide with the inclined surface 51b, and furthermore, to collide with the inner surface of the first constriction part 41a.
