STAINLESS STEEL HAVING EXCELLENT CORROSION RESISTANCE AND ELECTRIC CONDUCTIVITY AND BIPOLAR PLATE MADE OF THE SAME

Provided are a stainless steel such as an austenitic stainless steel, a ferritic stainless steel, and a duplex stainless steel, which has high stability and a passive film having low contact resistance through new alloy design and can be proper for a metallic bipolar plate of a fuel cell using hydrogen and an acidic solution as fuel and an electrolyte, respectively, and the bipolar plate made of the stainless steel. The stainless steel includes chromium (Cr) of from 18 to 35wt% and tungsten (W) of from 4 to 12 wt%.
