The network has a repeater (10, 20) with a Bluetoothtransmission and reception device, which is formed to provide a repeater service. The repeater service is exclusively based on Bluetooth, and a central device (100) is in signal-connection with a repeater and designed to configure the repeater service. A sensor (1) is designed to be connected with the central device over the repeater over a Bluetoothconnection (11-2 -11-5). The repeater is designed for authentication with the central device. An independent claim is also included for a method for setting up a Bluetooth network.
