<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air bag device capable of effectively restricting movement of an occupant to an inner side in a vehicle width direction, easily performing mounting to the vehicle and having practicality. <P>SOLUTION: The air bag device stores a central air bag 4 connected to a side surface 200 of a seat frame 20 of a seat through a predetermined connection member at an inner part in the vehicle width direction of at least one of the two adjacent seat of the vehicle. On an inner side outer surface in the vehicle width direction of the central air bag 4, a plurality of tethers 41,... are provided.
