PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a step of a passenger conveyor capable of reliably discharging water on a tread such as pouring rain in an outdoor passenger conveyor or the like. SOLUTION: The passenger conveyor comprises a tread 13, and through holes 13c which are penetrated through the tread 13 in the vertical direction to discharge water on the tread 13 downwardly. The through holes 13 are formed in a bottom surface of a cleat groove 13a of the tread 13. A tread water discharging gutter 16 for receiving water from the through holes 13c and discharging it to a predetermined part is arranged below the through holes 13c. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
