The invention relates to a floor cleaning device having a brush head, in which a brush roller is rotatably supported and having at least one suction nozzle disposed next to the brush roller, and a handle held pivotally on the brush head, a suction unit being disposed on said handle, and a cleaning fluid container for cleaning fluid that can be applied to the floor surface to be cleaned, and a dirty liquid container for receiving dirty liquid taken up from the floor surface by the suction unit, wherein the cleaning fluid container and the dirty liquid container together form a container assembly that is detachably connected by the handle. In order to refine the floor cleaning device such that it is easy to handle, it is proposed according to the invention to detachably connect the cleaning fluid container to the dirty liquid container.
