MEDIA BINDER SYSTEMS WITH DATUM STOPS FOR REGISTERING PHYSICAL MEDIA SHEETS

Media binder systems with datum stops for registering physical media sheets are described. A media binder system (12) includes a cover (26), a binding system (28), and a datum stop (30). The cover (26) includes an outwardly facing side (34) and an inwardly facing side (32). The binding system (28) is attached to the inwardly facing side (32) of the cover (26) and is operable to bind a spine end (18) of a collection (10) of physical media sheets to the cover (26). The datum stop (30) protrudes away from the inwardly facing side (32) of the cover (26) and includes a datum stop surface (42) against which a head end (20) or a tail end (22) of the collection (10 is registerable prior to binding the collection (10) to the cover (26). Methods of making media binder systems also are described.
