The process executed by a positional information providing apparatus comprises a step of acquiring a received position determination signal (S610); a step of determining the source of transmitting the position determination signal (S612); a step of acquiring a navigation message included in the position determination signal (S622) when the source of transmitting the position determination signal exists outdoors; a step of executing a processing for calculating, based on the signal of the immediately preceding step, the position (S624); a step of acquiring a message data from the position determination signal (S630) when the source of transmitting the position determination signal exists indoors; a step of acquiring coordinate values from the data (S632); and a step of displaying, based on the coordinate values, the positional information (S650).</p> |
