The height-adjustable table has a table top (1) which is supported by two legs (2) and has an upper side (11) as working surface and a lower side (12), wherein each leg (2) has two struts (20). Each strut (20) has an upper end and a lower end, wherein the latter is designed to be placed on the floor. The setting of the height of the table top (1) is based on the adjustment of the angle adopted between the legs (2) and the table top (1). The upper ends of the two struts (20) of each leg (2) are articulated on a first, position-variable spindle (A1) which can be displaced in a guide (40) running longitudinally below the table top (1). A cross piece (3) is articulated, firstly in a second, fixed spindle (A2) below the table top (1) and secondly in a third, position-variable spindle (A3) together with the two struts (20) of each leg (2). An adjustment member (5) is provided which serves to hold the first spindle (A1) in position in the set state. The first spindle (A1) is connected to the adjustment member (5) which serves to displace the first spindle (A1) in the guide (40) during the setting of the height. The adjustment member (5) is designed as a clamping device or detent element in order to hold the first spindle (A1) in position along the guide (40) in the set state. |
