A contents acquiring method acquires specific information to specify contents through a terminal device (103a) and sets browsing conditions on the acquired specific information. Next, the contents acquiring method records the acquired specific information, on which the browsing conditions are set, at a WEB server (102) or the like and the WEB server (102) accepts a browsing request of the specific information from a terminal device (103b). The contents acquiring method carries out a judgment with respect to browsing conditions and, if the terminal device (103b) meets the browsing conditions, discloses the specific information to the browsing request terminal device (103b) at its request. The terminal device (103b) specifies contents by browsing the specific information and judges whether the specified contents have been already recorded or not. As a result, if the contents have not been recorded yet, the terminal device (103b) requests a contents delivery server (101) to deliver the specified contents.
