<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve storage stability of ink by preventing agglomeration of a hydrophobic colloid by impurities. <P>SOLUTION: The ink is produced by mixing, to a solvent, a dye of at least magenta or black, a hydrophobic colloid the zeta potential of which is positively charged in a pH range of between 4 and 6, and either one or both of copper phthalocyanine sulfonic acid and copper phthalocyanine sulfonate; heating the mixture to agglomerate impurities contained in the hydrophobic colloid and the dye, and the copper phthalocyanine sulfonic acid and copper phthalocyanine sulfonate; removing the agglomerate; and removing impurities from the die. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
