<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical recording medium formed so that wobble characteristics are different from each other between a user data area and a lead-out area. <P>SOLUTION: The optical recording medium includes the user data area and the guard area provided in a position beyond a prescribed radius and modulation systems of wobbles of the user data area and the guard area are different from each other. At least one modulation system of frequency modulation, amplitude modulation, period modulation, phase modulation, HMW modulation and modulation based on combination of a wobble part and a non-wobble part is adopted as the modulation system. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
