<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine an additional function better suited to a user. <P>SOLUTION: In an information processing apparatus 2, an operation history processing section 11 calculates daily operation frequency of strength estimation object operation from operation history data of user's adjustment operation to a function of a TV receiver 2, and estimates a day on which the operation frequency is equal with or greater than a predetermined value, as a day on which user's adjustment desire is strong. A unifying force determination section 12 calculates a frequency distribution that is the operation frequency for each desire estimation target function, in the operation history data of the adjusting operation performed on a day corresponding to the day on which the adjustment desire is estimated to be strong, from the operation history data, and detects a feature of the user's adjusting operation to the TV receiver 3 that is the operation frequency for each desire estimation target function of the TV receiver 3. An additional function determination section 13 determines the function of the TV receiver 3 that the user desires to adjust, corresponding to the detected feature.
