<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus configured so that an adhesive layer for capturing a foreign matter which infiltrates in an imaging apparatus can be installed easily, even if foreign matters infiltrate the apparatus, and to provide its manufacturing method. <P>SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus is equipped with a covering member which transmits photographic light between an imaging device and a photographic lens, the area of the covering member where the photographing light is transmitted is set as a non-adhesive range, the covering member is attached and fixed from above with one side of a double-coated adhesive layer, and the other side thereof is exposed to capture foreign matters in the imaging apparatus. The manufacturing method includes a step for fixing the covering member from above, while releasing paper is provided on one side of the double-coated adhesive layer, and a step for peeling the releasing paper and exposing an adhesive surface and prevents the foreign matters from adhering to the light-receiving surface during manufacturing steps. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
