ENGINE STALL PREVENTION SYSTEM FOR WORK MACHINE ON BRAKING AND METHOD OF CONTROLLING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine stall prevention system for a work machine on braking.

SOLUTION: The work machine includes a transmission having a hydraulic shuttle valve capable of switching forward and reverse travelling without operating a clutch pedal and a control device capable of controlling the shuttle valve. The control device receives a brake pedal operation signal from a brake detection part capable of detecting an operation state of a brake pedal, detects a traveling state of a vehicle through a traveling sensing part and performs automatic control of the shuttle valve to a neutral state or a half-engaged clutch state to prevent engine stall if a vehicle speed and an engine speed are determined to decrease to be equal to or lower than certain values.
