<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically perform registration for images in consideration of possible motions of an organ of a patient. <P>SOLUTION: At least first sensor S interdependent on the imaging system is disposed, at least one second sensor P is disposed to make it interdependent on the movements of an organ of a patient of which at least two images are taken, the positions of the sensors S, P during acquisitions of the images are acquired, and the images are registered according to the positions of the sensors S, P. A system provided in another embodiment includes: a means for acquiring the position of at least a first sensor interdependent on the imaging system and of at least a second sensor interdependent on the movements of an organ of a patient of which two images are taken, the registration being performed according to the positions of the sensors at the moment when the images are acquired. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
