PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a traffic system for efficient traffic flow, and a road-side device and a vehicle-side device for use in this system. SOLUTION: A traffic system 1 grasps a present position of a vehicle which has sent identification information to the road side, by a camera 51 and always monitors whether the vehicle can go in a direction in which it will go or not on the road side. The monitoring result is sent to the vehicle side as prevention information, and control for preventing the vehicle from going, like announcement, brake intervention, steering intervention, or the like, is performed so that the vehicle may not go in a dangerous direction. Consequently, the traffic system 1 forbids the vehicle from going in a forbidden direction due to a driver's mistake, and considerably efficient traffic flow is achieved because of smooth traffic flow on roads to which the traffic system 1 is introduced.
