PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a leafing device of a parachute capable of a single use or a combined use with a plurality of leafing lines, and capable of extremely small deceleration which is difficult to achieve in the leafing lines. SOLUTION: This leafing device of a parachute comprises a closed parachute holding cloth 4 holding a closed parachute condition by covering a periphery of a closed parachute 20, and hold releasing means 51, 52, 53, 54 releasing holding of the closed condition of the parachute by the closed parachute holding cloth after a predetermined time has elapsed.
