PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle seat with a surface skin of a seat back which is constituted so as to prevent a reclining mechanism from being directly seen. SOLUTION: The reclining mechanism 4 is arranged at the lower end of a side 3a in the sheet width direction of a seat back 3. A cover 5 having an opening 5b in an inside part in the seat width direction is arranged so as to cover the reclining mechanism 4 from the outside in the seat width direction. The vehicle seat has a surface skin back surface 6 covering the back surface 3b of the seat back 3. A piece 7 is arranged so as to protrude from the lower end 6a of the surface skin back surface 6 in the seat width direction toward the outside in the seat width direction.
