PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slide rail installing method by which a slide rail is easily installed since paint does not stick to the surface of the rail, and a slide rail member, and a slide rail member manufacturing method. SOLUTION: A slide rail member 101 is composed of a layered body composed of: a slide rail plate 201; a masking tape 202 bonded to one main surface of the slide rail plate 201; and a bonding sheet 203 bonded to the other main surface of the slide rail plate 201. The layered body preferably has a plate shape formed by a punching process.
