<p>A lithographic plate material which comprises a substrate and, formed thereon, a photosensitive layer comprising a photo-thermal converting agent and a visualizing agent, characterized in that the visualizing agent is a cationic dye having as a counter anion an anionic group represented by the following general formula (1) or (2). The lithographic plate material is visible, has satisfactory developability while retaining sensitivity, and is capable of exposure with an infrared laser.</p> |
