<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display apparatus having a thinning conversion means preventing occurrence of crush of an image or missing of a thin line in an image area which is particularly target on (specific image area) and enabling a user to grasp the image of the original picture as a whole. <P>SOLUTION: When reading data in a pixel unit from first image data (data of the original picture) written in an image memory 2, the thinning conversion means 3 is so controlled that the image data in the horizontal and/or vertical direction corresponding to the specific image area are not thinned, but the image data in a non-specific image area other than the specific image area are thinned; and the rate of thinning image data in the non-specific image area is different between the area near the specific image area and the area far from the specific image area. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
