<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a label data creation device, a program, and a recording medium with which a layout being edited for inserting an object can be freely selected. <P>SOLUTION: When a portal application startup button 86 displayed on a layout edit screen is clicked with a mouse, CPU 41 of a computer device 2 starts up a portal application and displays a reduced portal icon 91. When an object icon is dragged and approaches the reduced portal icon 91, the CPU 41 displays an enlarged portal icon 95 instead of the reduced portal icon 91 (S11-S13).
