<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct threshold values of a sensor for an automatic door device while ensuring the safety of the automatic door device. <P>SOLUTION: In the sensor for the automatic door device, a CPU 24 generates output signals depending on the circumstances in small detection areas 18 formed along moving passages of door panels 6a, 6b of the automatic door device. The CPU 24 generates detection signals indicative of presence/absence of objects in the detection areas 18 according to the relationship with respect to the predetermined threshold values Uth, Lth of the output signals. When predetermined correction conditions are satisfied, the CPU 24 corrects the threshold values Uth, Lth, and when the correction is carried out, the CPU 24 generates a warning signal for forcing the automatic door device to carry out a safety action. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
