PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass chopped strand mat capable of securing high rigidity after being formed into a GFRP molded article, capable of preventing the damage of a mat when being drawn out of a mat roll, and capable of sufficiently responding to the environmental problem after being used as a structural member, to provide a method for producing the glass chopped strand mat, and to provide an automotive molded ceiling material using the mat. SOLUTION: The glass chopped strand mat 1 is obtained by mutually binding glass chopped strands accumulated in a sheet shape with a binder containing a polylactic acid resin. The method for producing the glass chopped strand mat 1 includes depositing the glass chopped strands into the sheet shape, spraying the binder thereon, heating and melting the binder, and solidifying the binder to bind the glass chopped strands of the sheet-shaped deposition to each other. The automotive molded ceiling material is obtained by sticking the glass chopped strand mat 1 to at least one side of a foamed resin sheet. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
