PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for an optical component capable of preventing molding failure such as unfilling and bubbles caused by hardening of resin in a terminal part of a cavity while preventing mold release failure during molding of resin lens etc. SOLUTION: In the method for manufacturing the optical component comprising a resin molding body 4 by a molding die 7 comprising a cope 7b and a drag 7a, resin is injected from a resin inlet 5 provided on the cope 7b having smaller cavity volume to a cavity of the molding die 7.
