PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an actuator capable of restraining the rotational movement of a movable part while allowing the translational movement of the movable part by rolling of a rolling member. SOLUTION: The actuator (10) for preventing image blur by moving an imaging lens (16) on a plane orthogonal to the optical axis thereof is equipped with: a fixed part (12); an intermediate support part (13); a first rolling member (18) held between the fixed part and the intermediate support part, and supporting the intermediate support part relative to the fixed part so that the intermediate support part may move in a first direction on the plane orthogonal to the optical axis; the movable part (14) to which the imaging lens is attached; a second rolling member (19) held between the intermediate support part and the movable part, and supporting the movable part relative to the intermediate support part so that the movable part may move in a second direction different from the first direction on the plane orthogonal to the optical axis; and drive means (20 and 22) driving the movable part relative to the fixed part.
