PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cyclone oil separator making it possible to efficiently separate the oil content from a fluid containing the oil content and the gas content and to store the separated oil content within it. SOLUTION: The cyclone oil separator 15 is provided with a cylindrical cyclone body 20 having a tapered part 22 and an inlet 25 on the upper end of the peripheral wall 21 of the cyclone body 20. The tapered part 22 of the cyclone body 20 is covered by an oil storage part 30, forming an outlet 26 on the upper face of the cyclone body 20. A fluid containing the coil content and the gas content is introduced from the inlet 25. The oil content that is centrifuged by the swirl of the fluid is stored in the oil storage part 30 and the fluid from which the oil content has been removed by centrifugation is discharged from the outlet 26.
