A data communication based charging method, comprises: a charging system charges a user currently using data resource based on a content flux charging mode and receives a use result message about the data resource used by the user which is reported by a charging information collecting device; the charging system performs a rollback on the charged content flux of the user when the received use result message is failed for use. Another data communication based charging method, comprises: a charging system charges a user currently using data resource based on a content flux charging mode and notifies a charging information collecting device to terminate the data resource currently used by the user when the account amount of the user is used up; the charging system performs a rollback on the charged content flux of the user.
