AUTOMATED DIAGNOSTIC ANALYZER AND METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automated analyzer and a process for carrying out multiple diagnostic assays simultaneously.

SOLUTION: The process for carrying out amplification reaction based on nucleic acid includes steps of (a) separating target nucleic acid from other materials existing in a fluid sample in a separating station arranged in a first position on a processing deck, (b) incubating the separated target nucleic acid for a time and under conditions enough to amplify a target array included in the target nucleic acid together with one or more amplification reagents in a reaction receptacle in an amplifying station arranged in a second position on the processing deck, and (c) carrying the reaction receptacle containing the separated target nucleic acid to the amplifying station prior to the step (b).
