摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoelectric conversion element, fully reducing thermal conductivity and significantly improving the characteristics, and to provide a manufacturing method of the thermoelectric conversion element. <P>SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of a thermoelectric conversion element includes a process for preparing a solution, containing the salt of an element constituting a thermoelectric conversion material, dripping the solution in a solution containing a reducing agent, and depositing a raw material particle of the thermoelectric conversion material, performing heat treatment, and performing sintering. By dripping the solution in the solution, containing the reducing agent, the raw material particles of a thermoelectric conversion material, having an average grain size of 10-100 nm, are deposited. By heat-treating the raw material particle, before sintering, the thermoelectric conversion element comprising the crystal particle of the thermoelectric conversion material having an average grain size of 10-100 nm can be obtained, that shows phonon scattering in a proper grain boundary, and reducing the decrease in the thermal conductivity, and improving the performance index ZT. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p>
