<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe joint connection device for actualizing space saving by increasing a degree of adjustment of misalignment between pipe joints when connected to each other. <P>SOLUTION: The pipe joint connection device comprises one pipe joint member 9 having a storage groove 27 in the outer peripheral face and the other pipe joint member 8, and a supporting member 7 for supporting one pipe joint member and a collar member 31 for pinchingly holding the supporting member between a shoulder portion of the one pipe joint member and itself. The supporting member has an opening portion 7a whose diameter is almost the same as the outer diameter of the one pipe joint member. The storage groove stores an elastic member 29. An opening edge 7b of the supporting member faces the storage groove, and one side face 7c of the opening edge slidably abuts on the shoulder portion and the other side face 7d of the opening edge slidably abuts on an end face 31a of the collar member. One pipe joint member is displaceable by the elastic member, and the groove width of the storage groove is greater than the plate thickness of the supporting member. When the pipe joint members are connected to each other, the elastic member thrust by the opening edge of the supporting member is deformed to displace the one pipe joint member relative to the supporting member. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
