PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable gas stove comprising an attachment auxiliary means of a gas canister for surely and stably holding the attachment of the gas canister and simplifying its attaching operation. SOLUTION: The attachment auxiliary means of the gas canister, having an inclined face on its outer peripheral portion and projecting into a canister receiving portion by closing a cover, is buried in an inner face side of the cover openably and closably covering the canister receiving portion of the portable gas stove, the attachment auxiliary means is brought into contact with a bottom edge of the gas canister in a separated state, at an opened edge of the inclined face of the outer peripheral portion after the start of closing the cover and before its completion, and the attachment auxiliary means is kept into contact with the bottom edge of the gas canister in an attached state, at the outer peripheral portion in completion of closing the cover.
