The unit has a rear part (1) for stabilizing, and teeth (2, 3) for receiving windings (4) protruding from the rear part. The teeth differ in length measured in the radial direction. The length of side surfaces (2a, 2b) of one of the teeth is identical to side surfaces (3a, 3b) of the adjoining tooth. The teeth are placed at a distance from each other such that a concentric winding is arranged. An auxiliary tooth between the teeth is formed such that the windings rest against the auxiliary tooth. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a model for an electrical machine (2) a welding gun drive with a motor (3) a processing machine e.g. machine tool, with a motor.
