[MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] The cage (A) for civil engineering works is formed in a box shape having six faces including four side faces. The four side faces have a tortoise shell pattern having hexagonal units each including two spirally twisted sections (4) facing each other. Each spirally twisted section (4) is formed by arranging wire materials, which are synthetic resin monofilaments, in the vertical direction and twisting adjacent wire materials together, and each wire material can pivot relative to each other about the spirally twisted section (4).
