FLAME RETARDANT AND LOW MELTING POLYESTER FILAMENT AND METHOD OF MAKING THE SAME

A low melting point polyester fiber is provided to have high retardant effect by using reactive flame retardant copolymerizing the fire retardant and the polyester and high durability. A sheath part includes a low melting point poly ester resin and has a melting point is 110-190 ‹C. A core unit includes a flame-retardant polyester group resin which is copolymerized with a flame retardant and has a melting point is 220-260 ‹C. The flame retardant is a phosphate flame retardant. A concentration of phosphorous atom(P) of the phosphate flame retardant is 5,000 ppm - 10,000 ppm.
